চাকরির দায়িত্বসমূহ

• Responsible for preparation of financial statements, reports in line with the guidelines of Bangladesh Bank, Bangladesh Securities & Exchange Commission and other regulatory authorities.
• Supervising the financial reporting process including monitoring and reviewing of accounting policies and principles adopted by the organization and their proper implementation in the Company. Contributing to, and assisting in review of business processes in the Company with a view to further development of strong process design.
• To present and interpret financial reports to the Management, Board of Directors and Shareholders to direct and supervise preparation of all fiscal reporting, such as cost accounting, reports to regulatory authorities and government agencies.
• To meet the requirements of the regulatory authorities (Bangladesh bank & others) regarding internal control, compliance and internal audit; provide suitable directions and leadership to the audit and inspection unit, monitoring unit and compliance unit; statutory audit (CA firms) and Bangladesh Bank inspection.
• Review and confirm, quarterly, half yearly and the annual financial statements including significant related party transactions and make ready in compliance with Bangladesh Financial Reporting Standards (BFRS)/Bangladesh Accounting Standards (BAS) to place before the Board Audit Committee for their recommendation to the Board Meeting.
• To review the institution’s financial conditions, financial position and recommend viable alternatives for cost effective operation.
• To participate in the strategic planning process, to lead the budgeting and forecasting of the FI’s performance and to build a strong foundation by establishing financial discipline and ensuring accountability through follow-up & monitoring of performance and to recommend corrective measures for variance.
• Ensure all regulatory, financial, VAT and TAX compliance to the concerned authorities as well as monitor all open legal issues relating to financial matters, Tax, VAT etc.
• Assisting the Managing Director, Board and management with forecasting, strategic insights and cost benefit analysis.
• Working with the Audit Committee and Board on financial statement and other relevant analyses as required. Reviewing all periodical closing activities including general ledger maintenance, balance sheet reconciliations and corporate/overhead cost allocation.
• Ensuring guidance and development planning to improve and strengthen the Finance function.
• Perform risk management by analyzing the organization’s liabilities and investments
• Decide on investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks
• Control and evaluate the organization’s fundraising plans and capital structure
• Reviewing Monthly Management Reports and Project Summary Reports and make recommendations as required
• Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organization’s operations
• Supervise all finance personnel.
• Set up and oversee the company’s finance and Accounts Department.
• To oversee employee benefit plans in accordance with relevant laws and international accounting standards to ensure adequacy of funded facilities as well as cost effectiveness.
• Any other work / responsibility as and when assigned by the Management.

• Qualified Chartered Accountant / ACCA/ CPA / CMA professional Degree with MBA, MBM, Master Degree in Finance / Accounting / Banking from any recognized university.

• ১২ থেকে ১৫ বছর

চাকরির প্রয়োজনীয় বিষয়সমূহ

• Minimum 12-15 years’ experience in any reputed bank or financial institution out of which at least 5 years practical exposure in accounts & taxation related works of a bank / FI. Preference shall be given to the candidates working as CFO / Deputy CFO / Head of Finance / Accounts department in any reputed bank or FI.
• The candidate should be experienced in financial management, planning, administration, budgeting and auditing along with supervisory capability.
• The candidate must have clear idea about functions and major structure of financial statements of a commercial bank or FI and knowledge of computerized systems/ ERP (Enterprise Resources Planning) implementation experience.
• The Companies ACT-1994, The Bank Companies Act-1991, Financial Institution Act-1993, DFIM & DOS circulars, CAMELS and Risk Based Capital Adequacy Guidelines (BASEL III).
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in Bangla and English.
• Must have literacy in computer operation (Especially in MS Office and Various Software).
• Must be dynamic, energetic, self-motivated and self-organized with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work with Top Management.
• Leadership and Team Management skills.
